About the Event
There is a life force energy that permeates all living forms. The Chinese identify this energy as "chi,” the Indians called it ''prana,” and the Japanese know it as "ki.”
Reiki is a precise method of connecting to this universal life force. In this class, the Reiki student is taught how to access and channel this energy to promote healing for the greater good.
Reiki can be used on oneself, on friends, family, animals, plants and even your food.
This first class will investigate the history behind Reiki and learn the basic principles so that the student will be able to use Reiki as a healing technique, first on themselves, then as they become confident in these techniques, they will be able to work with others. We will also touch on the basic principles of how to create sacred space, energy/psychic hygiene, and how to begin to investigate one’s own psychic intuitive doorway.
*** No prior knowledge of Reiki is needed to participate in this class ***
