Reiki Level Two Practitioner Course

There is a life force energy that permeates all living forms. The Chinese identify this energy as "chi,” the Indians called it ''prana,” and the Japanese know it as "ki.” Reiki is a precise method of connecting to this universal life force.

 In this class, the Reiki student continues their investigation of the Reiki Principals through the Usui Reiki System. After a brief review of the history and skills taught in the Reiki One Course, we teach the traditional symbols that allow for further enhancement of the strength and direction of the Universal Life Force Energy. The student learns through using these symbols that healing energy can be channeled through space, place and time. Specifically, we can send healing energy back in time to a precise event where a loved one was injured or traumatized; we can send healing energy to another place, perhaps across the globe to another country; and we can send healing energy forward in time when we know we, or a friend, might need that energy in the future such as an up-and-coming surgery.

 We will continue our discussion on how to create and maintain sacred space; how to formalize a ritual for psychic hygiene; and investigate further how one’s own psychic intuitive abilities become more and more accessible the more we practice opening to spirit through the use of Reiki.

 Terri Mayer Thomsen, Reiki Master Teacher Terri Mayer Thomsen has been practicing Reiki since 2011. She is a member of the Green Mountain Druid Order, graduating at Stonehenge in 2014 as a Druid Priestess. Terri has a private clinical practice in Bristol Vermont as a Licensed Addiction Specialist and General Mental Health Counselor. She holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Antioch NE Graduate School. She is a practicing Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. Terri was trained through the Jon-Kabat Zinn Stress Reduction Clinic at the Massachusetts Medical Center in Mindfulness Practices. She holds a Black Belt in Green Mountain Kenpo. She is also Co- Owner of Vermont Skydiving Adventures, Inc.
